Copy the Journalist Outreach Template
Make a copy of the journalist outreach template before starting.
Search for Journalists on Google News
Visit Google News and search for your niche, product category, or a competitor’s name.
Example: Search “work-from-home jobs” or “remote jobs” to find relevant news articles.
Review Search Results
Browse through the search results to find articles published by relevant news sites, blogs, or media outlets.
Open Articles and Collect URLs
Right-click each article of interest and open it in a new tab.
Identify the URL of the article and add it to your outreach template under the "URL" column.

Gather Contact Information
Download the Hunter.io extension for Chrome or Firefox to help find contact details.


Click the Hunter icon when visiting each article and note down the journalist’s contact information.
Add the contact details to your outreach template under "Contact" and the journalist’s name under "Name."

Complete Your Journalist List
Continue repeating steps 2–5 until you have at least 50 journalists in your outreach list.
